2024 MTV VMAs winners

The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards returned to New York to celebrate this year’s biggest music stars, led by none other than a hot girl herself.

That’s right, Houston’s very own Megan Thee Stallion took on the role of host while also performing during the event. Other artists who graced the stage included Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Camila Cabello, GloRilla, Rauw Alejandro, and more.

Roan’s performance marked her debut on an awards stage, and she did not disappoint. She captivated the audience with her hit “Good Luck, Babe!” while channeling a “Joan of Arc” or “Roan of Arc” theme, much to the fans’ delight. Meanwhile, Carpenter paid tribute to iconic blondes like Britney Spears, Madonna, and Marilyn Monroe during her medley of “Please Please Please”, “Taste”, and “Espresso.”

Taylor Swift won the majority of the awards she was nominated for, including the prestigious Video of the Year award, setting a new record for herself. 2024 MTV VMAs winners. She became the only artist to achieve a three-peat and win five times in this highly competitive category.
